With World Cup fever currently gripping the world, it is estimated that 3.2 billion people will tune in to watch their respective country take part.
This might seem like quite a large number, however at LGR, we routinely deal with large numbers such as this.

For one of our major customers, our applications on average process around 700 million records per day, and the datawarehouse for said customer currently holds more than 253 billion records.
That is the equivalent viewership of 80 World Cup’s!

And soon, working with large numbers such as these will be even easier.
With LGR’s new big data solution, estimated for quarter 4 2014, we will revolutionise the way our customers access and store large quantities of data.
